Victoria Liu-Elliott: From Classical to Hip HOp

Victoria Elliott plays for classical symphony orchestras and her playing has been featured on National Public Radio and television. She won many awards and fellowships for music performance while studying violin and chamber music performance at Yale University, including the Sudler Arts Fund. She won various funding awards for chamber music performance to perform or premiere the compositions of esteemed new composers. As a versatile musician, a former United States Department of State diplomat, and a military spouse on the move, she has been invited to perform with various musical groups throughout the world beginning from when she was the youngest acting assistant concertmistress for the Monterey Bay Symphony. She has also performed with and recorded for artists like Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, Barry Manilow, Dwight Yoakam, Andrea Bocelli, Journey, Smokey Robinson, Imagine Dragons and has been invited to play for many other popular artists, celebrities, and the Grammys.

With her acoustic and 5-string electric violin, she has the ability to bring any tune to life with a unique twist. She effortlessly blends genres and creates a musical experience like no other.
